Just one point separates the top three in the league as leaders Chelsea visit Birmingham City, Manchester City go to Bristol City and Arsenal entertain Liverpool.
Fourth-placed Everton take on a Tottenham side just three points behind them, Manchester United host Brighton and West Ham welcome Reading, who are a point better off.
Championship leaders Aston Villa have only dropped two points in 21 ahead of the visit from mid-table Lewes. It’s third versus fourth as Sheffield United play at Chesterfield FC for the first time when hosting Durham, whom they beat 4-0 away in the Conti Cup in midweek.
Blackburn Rovers and Crystal Palace go head-to-head after both were hit for six in the League Cup. Coventry United and Charlton Athletic were both buoyed by recent results in the competition though, which they will look to take forward to Leicester City and London Bees respectively.
