Moneyfields, Southampton FC Ladies, plus West Didsbury & Chorlton have all been celebrating winning their respective divisions.
EASTERN – St Ives win promotion ‘six-pointer’
PREMIER – Wymondham Town went third with a narrow 3-2 win at Haringey Borough, Peterborough Northern Star pipped Bedford 1-0 with Jess Driscoll’s 30-yard strike and Cambridge City had a walkover at AFC Dunstable.
ONE – St Ives Town beat title rivals Bowers & Pitsea 2-0 with efforts by Hannah Seymour-Shove and substitute Ruth Fox to go within a point of becoming champions. King’s Lynn Town sub Emma Corbyn netted in a 3-2 victory at Hutton, Lawford’s Jade Heath got both her side’s goals in a 2-2 tie at Histon, while Hertford Town were 4-2 winners at Hatfield Peverel.
LEAGUE PLATE S/F – Newmarket Town made the final as Hoddesdon Town Owls were seen off with goals from Annabel Cuthbert and Jess Linger.
EAST MIDLANDS – Foxes close in on title
PREMIER – Leicester City WFC Development took another step toward the title by thrashing hosts Loughborough Students 10-1, Ollerton Town’s Megan Howard got the winner in a 2-1 result at Loughborough Students.
1 NORTH – Grimsby Borough finished fourth after Lydia Clark bagged a brace in a 4-1 defeat of Arnold Town.
1 SOUTH – Notts County were 4-1 winners over Loughborough Foxes Vixens in midweek, when Bella Reed notched a hat-trick.
LONDON & SOUTH EAST – Saltdean and Lewes win cup finals
LEAGUE CUP FINAL – The one remaining game sees LKFU (Dartford Ladies) play AFC Phoenix on 5 May at Maidstone United FC.
SOUTH EAST COUNTIES LEAGUE CUP FINAL – Saltdean United beat Ashford LFC 2-1, Ellie Smith with both their goals.
CHAIRMAN’S CUP FINAL – Lewes Foundation won 3-1 against Oakwood, Nicole Baitup, Maya Beesley and Emily Chevassut with a goal each.
NORTH EAST – Durham Cestria finish with 100% record
PREMIER – Durham Cestria completed a perfect season with a 5-1 result at South Shields. Hartlepool United’s Justine Robinson got four goals as they sank Wallsend BC 7-1 to as good as clinch the runners-up spot.
1 NORTH – Alys Beadle’s first-half hat-trick set up Boro Rangers for a 4-2 result at Chester le Street Town St. Cuthberts.

PREMIER – Stockport County hold a nine-point lead over FC United of Manchester in the title race but the latter have three games in hand. County won 5-1 at Wigan Athletic, while FC United hit Penrith 6-1 but were also held 1-1 in the double-header. Mossley Hill look to have sealed fourth place after a 6-3 win at Accrington.
1 NORTH – Blackpool held second place with a 5-0 at Penwortham Town but Blackburn CSC are a point behind following 3-1 & 1-0 wins over Workington Reds. Morecambe Reserves beat Cammell Laird 4-2 but lost the other match with them by the only goal, while Burscough Dynamo took the points against Leigh RMI 2-1.
1 SOUTH – West Didsbury & Chorlton took the title in midweek with a 3-0 result over Northwich Vixens, backing that up with a 4-2 result at Curzon Ashton. Altrincham are third after a 2-0 beating of Stockport County Blues, Warrington Wolverines had a similar win at Didsbury and Liverpool Feds Reserves ran out 8-2 winners over Northwich Vixens
SOUTHERN – Saints and Moneyfields going up
PREMIER – Southampton FC Ladies won the league when following up a 6-0 midweek result against Warsash Wasps by putting eight past Barton Rovers. They could now join two other Southampton sides in the FAWNL Division 1 South West. Newbury netted the only goal at Winchester City Flyers and New Milton Town did likewise against Warsash.
ONE – Top spot was also sealed by a seventeenth straight win, with Moneyfields edging Abingdon United in the clash of the leading pair. Katie Shorter got what proved to be the decider when making it 3-2 on 50 minutes.
SOUTH WEST – Ilminster hold champions
PREMIER – Ilminster Town shared six goals with recently crowned league winners Exeter City. Town’s goals came from Colette Martin (2) and Kelly Snook, City’s Sophie Gillies with a couple and sun Sian Chapman also on target.
WEST MIDLANDS – Sutton Coldfield lead likely to be temporary
PREMIER – Sutton Coldfield Town’s 3-1 score against Stockingford AA Pavilion saw them complete their fixtures by going top, however, Leafield Athletic only need a point from two games to finish in first place.
