Swansea City 5-0 Cyncoed

Jumping Jacks Are Flash

Swansea made sure of a suitable victory for the celebrations, as Sophie Hancocks volleyed in the opener and Stacey Webber doubles the Swans lead with an impressive lofted goal from outside the box in the 16th minute.

Katy Hosford hit the visitors’ crossbar before Stacey John made it 3-0 by the break.

Substitute Katie Davies made an instant impact to score the fourth and after clipping the bar, Jodie Passmore slotted home following a Katy Hosford pass.

Port Talbot Hold Met

Cardiff Met finished seven points behind the Swans after being held 1-1 at home by seventh-placed Port Talbot Town on the last day of the season. Port Talbot were ahead at the interval but the Archers equalised despite losing Yzzy Taylor to injury.

Bluebirds Bag Third Spot

Cardiff City FC Women took third spot on goal-difference from Abergavenny, with a 5-1 victory over Rhyl. For the North Wales side, goal-difference mattered even more, as they were spared relegation at the expense of Aberystwyth Town.

Abergavenny Slip Up

Abergavenny went down 4-2 at Llandudno, who ended up level on points with fifth-placed Cyncoed. Lyndsey Davies got both goals for Abergavenny, as they missed out on the point needed to clinch third place.
