Six WSL games get live broadcasts in February

Six FA WSL 1 matches have been selected for live broadcast on either TV or radio in February, starting with the massive clash between Chelsea and Manchester City.

Coverage will be shared between BBC, BT Sport and the FA WSL Facebook page:

Thursday 1st February

Chelsea v Manchester City: BT Sport (7pm).

Saturday 10th February

Bristol City v Sunderland: BBC 5Live Sports Extra (5.30pm).

Sunday 11th February

Manchester City v Liverpool: BBC Online/Red Button (12.30pm).

Everton v Reading: FA WSL Facebook (2pm).

Wednesday 21st February

Liverpool v Sunderland: BBC 5Live Sports Extra (7pm).

Birmingham City v Manchester City: FA WSL Facebook (7.45pm).

  2. Why is women’s football always relegated to the radio or Facebook? Why can’t the WSL games televised live like the men’s? Even when the men’s are not live you can always watch them in full or highlights on t.v.. Why?
