The Everton forward broke the deadlock just after the half-hour mark and then doubled the lead shortly after against the tournament hosts.

Player of the match Bethany England added a third on 50 minutes before Arsenal’s Beth Mead completed the convincing victory with less than 20 minutes remaining.

England’s second match is against USA on Friday afternoon followed by Norway next Monday.
