Southampton WFC eliminated Actonians 2-0, with both goals coming in the first period of after extra time. The first was an own-goal, with Jane Yeates lobbing in the second.
Leicester City WFC proved a little too much for TNS, Leigh Dugmore and Nat Johnson giving the visit0rs a 2-0 interval advantage. Olivia Mitcham got the third and although The New Saints did get two back in as many minutes, Johnson and Sophie Domingo scored to make sure of a City win.
Crystal Palace coasted through their cup tie in Dorset, putting eight goals past Poole Town. The prolific Gemma Bryan featured with a five-goal haul, while there was one apiece for Nikita Whinnett, Ellie Stenning and debutant Sandra Martin.
Liverpool Feds progressed past Steel City but had to wait until the 82nd minute to be sure. Sasha Rowe and Channi Thompson put the Feds 2-0 up by the break, Wanderers pulled one back when following up a shot against the bar but Rosie Havelin restored Feds’ two-goal lead.
In the Plate, St Nicholas edged out Basingstoke Town on penalties, Chorley were 2-1 winners over Rotherham United, while Hull City had a walkover as Leicester City Ladies were unable to field a side.
