The Women’s FA Cup fourth round draw takes place on Monday at 7pm.

WSL teams join the FA Cup

All 12 teams from the Women’s Super League join the FA Cup at the fourth round stage.

Chelsea are the defending champions after beating Manchester United 3-0 in last season’s final.

It came as part of their unbeaten domestic season in which they also won the WSL and the League Cup. Everton secured a historic victory to end Chelsea’s unbeaten run earlier this month.

Manchester City look like strong contenders to win the FA Cup, after building a six-point lead at the top of the WSL.

The likes of Tottenham and London City Lionesses will be hoping for deep FA Cup runs after excellent starts to their respective seasons.

Which are the lowest-ranked teams left in the FA Cup?

There are nine teams in the competition who play outside of the top two flights in the Women’s National League.

Middlesbrough, Burnley, Hull City, Bournemouth and Oxford United all play in the third-tier of English women’s football.

There are then four teams from the fourth tier of women’s football also left in the competition. Those teams include York City, Chatham Town, London Bees and Swindon Town.

York City are the lowest-ranked side based on current standings, sitting 10th in Division One North, just one point above the relegation zone.
