Opening fixtures for English clubs

This season introduces a fresh format with all 18 clubs placed in one league. Each team will battle to secure a position in the Knockout Phase, setting up a more competitive structure across Europe.

The Women’s Champions League draw was made earlier this month, with the new League Phase getting underway next week.

Arsenal begin their campaign against French giants OL Lyonnes as they aim to defend their title. Barcelona, last season’s finalists, will host Bayern Munich.

Manchester United make their debut in the competition with a match against Valerenga, while Chelsea open their journey away to Twente.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils recently announced that their Champions League clash with PSG in November will be held at Old Trafford.

This will be the first time that United host a Women’s Champions League game at Old Trafford.

Arsenal are the defending champions, and Emily Fox recently spoke about her ‘favourite moment’ from last season’s competition, which they won by defeating Barcelona.
