Leicester City vs Tottenham match preview
Tottenham’s 100 per cent start to the season ended in emphatic fashion last time out in the Women’s Super League.
Hopes were high for a positive performance at home against Manchester City, following victories over West Ham and Everton.
However, Martin Ho’s side were convincingly beaten 5-1 on home soil, and will now be looking to pick up the pieces against Leicester City.
The Foxes followed off their victory over Liverpool with a respectable performance against champions Chelsea, who could only put one goal past in-form goalkeeper Janina Leitzig – who made our Team of the Week for Matchday 3.
Leicester then put five goals past Ipswich Town on Wednesday in a League Cup clash. Tottenham were held to a goalless draw by Aston Villa in the same competition, but won on penalties to take an extra point in the group stage.
Martin Ho had special praise for his goalkeeper Lize Kop after the shootout win over Villa.
Both WSL matches between these two sides last season were closely matched, and the goalkeepers could have a big part to play again this weekend.
We'll leave the sign-off to these two 📲
Fantastic support tonight Foxes, see you Sunday! 🙌

Leicester City vs Tottenham team news
Rick Passmoor made nine changes against Ipswich to the side that lost to Chelsea last weekend.
Most of the players which featured against Chelsea can be expected to return to the starting fold.
There was positive news midweek with the return of Noemie Mouchon who returned from an ACL injury after not playing since October 2024. It is likely she will be on the bench against Tottenham.
Shannon Kayleigh O’Brien is likely to start after missing the Chelsea game because of suspension.
For Tottenham, Ella Morris, Luana Buhler and Molly Bartrip are long-term absentees.
Martin Ho made just three changes for the League Cup clash with Aston Villa and it is likely his starting XI will be the same that lost to Manchester City last time out in the WSL.
Predicted lineups
Leicester City: Leitzig; Cayman, Boureille, Thibaud; Payne, Tierney, McLoughlin, Ale; Van Egmond; Cain, O’Brien

Leicester City vs Tottenham prediction
Leicester City can take some confidence from their recent outings after beating Liverpool with 10 players and holding Chelsea to just one goal last weekend.
After a bright start, Tottenham have endured a tougher week over the last seven days, losing heavily to Manchester City and failing to score against Aston Villa.
Tottenham also have struggled at the King Power Stadium in recent seasons. Therefore, we predict it will be a 1-1 draw in a hard-fought clash.
Prediction: Leicester City 1-1 Tottenham
