Crystal Palace vs London City Lionesses preview
Although they compete in the league below London City Lionesses, Crystal Palace should be able to challenge a close game on Wednesday night.
The Eagles have endured a mixed start to the season with one draw, one win and one loss to kick off their campaign.
A win against promotion rivals, Nottingham Forest, on Sunday should fuel Palace with plenty of confidence heading into their League Cup clash.

Neither Palace or London City Lionesses made it out of the group stage last year so they will both be keen to get off to a quick start in the competition.
London City Lionesses have also suffered from a mixed bag of results to start the year.
The newly-promoted club won their first-ever WSL game on Sunday in a deserved win against Everton.
However, two emphatic losses to Manchester United and Arsenal at the start of September will give Crystal Palace hope against their opponents this week.
The head to head record between these teams is a close one, with five wins for the Lionesses and three for Palace.
Last time these sides met was in the Continental Cup with London City Lionesses edging the result 2-1 in 2024.
Crystal Palace vs London City Lionesses team news
Crystal Palace could make a whole host of changes to the side that beat Nottingham Forest over the weekend.
Manchester City loanee Eve Annets is in line to make her debut for Palace in place of Shae Yanez in goal.
Ruesha Littlejohn and Isabella Sibley are also likely to get their first starts of the campaign.
After scoring a brace at the weekend, Isobel Goodwin should retain her spot in the starting lineup and lead the London City Lionesses attack.
Changes can be expected from Jocelyn Precheur though and the likes of Sanni Franssi, Alanna Kennedy and club-record signing Grace Geyoro are all pushing for a start.
