Manchester United have an all-important Champions League qualifier second leg against Brann this week and Jayde Riviere says the club is ready to bounce back.
United have won two out of two in the league so far this season but face an uphill battle in Europe.
The Red Devils are top of the WSL after two games with back to back demolition jobs against Leicester and London City Lionesses.
However, United’s perfect start to this season hit a bump in the road last week following a 1-0 loss to Brann in Champions League qualifying.

Fortunately for United they still have the second leg to overturn the result and save themselves from dropping down to the Europa Cup.
Manchester United need to show ruthlessness
It would be a surprise to see United drop out of the Champions League at such an early stage of the competition. However with home advantage on Thursday they remain favourites with UK betting sites to advance to the league phase.
“We really wanted to focus this week on bouncing back from our Champions League game. We were really disappointed and wanted to really jump into this.” Jayde Riviere said after United’s win on Sunday.
“The team we played was a new team, so it’s very interesting the players that they have and we didn’t know what to expect, but I think for us all we can control is how we can play.”
Riviere scored a rare goal against London City Lionesses on Sunday and pointed out United’s ruthlessness after the game.

“You saw that ruthlessness of the Manchester United identity. You’ve got Melvine scoring braces, Jess [Park] scoring her first goal and myself scoring a goal for once!”
Jess Park scored her first goal for United in Sunday’s WSL win but said she is still settling in to the team after making the switch from Manchester City.
Both Park and Riviere are expected to start for Marc Skinner in this week’s all important second leg against Brann
