Friendly fixtures for Sunday 15th July featured a victory for FC United of Manchester over Everton Development and a narrow defeat for Cardiff Met against an U-18 lads’ side.

FC United of Manchester posted an impressive 2-0 result over Everton Development Squad, with goals by Jess Battle and Sarah Chadwick.

Cardiff Met had a physical encounter with the U-18 lads’ side from Ystradgynlais and only lost out 3-2 to a late goal.

Norton & Stockton Ancients hit a young Guiseley Vixens side 6-1 with four goals from Bianca Owens.

Katie Lowder came off the bench to score three times as Loughborough Foxes beat Bolton Wanderers 5-2.

West Brom’s Hannah George got a late equaliser with a free kick to cancel out a strike from Cheltenham Town’s Rose Knuckey, in a 1-1 draw watched by a crowd of 102.

Another three-figure attendance came at Ossett United’s first ever game, as Leeds United were held 1-1 by a Lauren  Swailes goal.

Chloe Shirley got the only goal as Wolves won away to Long Eaton United.

Haringey Borough battled back from three goals down to tie 3-3 with Hoddesdon Town Owls.

Crewe Alexandra’s 4-2 beating of Birmingham & West Midlands included a brace by Amanda Fallon.

Northampton Town’s 2-0 victory at Royston Town saw Hayley Matthews and Abbie Reboul on target.

Leafield Athletic’s 10-1 scoreline against Solihull Sporting featured four for Lilly Eustace and a Michelle McCormack treble.

Natasha Thomas netted three times as Ipswich Town walloped Wymondham Town 10-2.

Gillingham won 9-2 at Margate in a double-header with their respective men’s teams, Maddison Farrand hitting a hat-trick.
