England were 2-1 winners over France on the last day of games at the La Manga U-19 Ten Nations Tournament.

England took control early on against France, with two goals in the first 13 minutes, Hannah Cain and Lauren Hemp on target. France got a consolation goal but only in added time.

Sweden scored in stoppage-time to earn a 1-1 draw with Iceland. Nellie Lilja got the late leveller, after Eygló Þorsteinsdóttir made the breakthrough with 22 minutes left.

Norway also drew 1-1 with USA, Loren Sefcik’s 11th-minute goal cancelled out by Jenny Kristine Røsholm Olsen equalising on half-time.

Netherlands were 3-1 winners over Italy, with all the goals coming in the space of just 7 minutes, mid-way through the first half. Bente Jansen scored either side of an effort by Joëlle Smits, before Arianna Caruso replied from the spot.

Denmark defeated Czech Republic 4-2 with two goals in the last quarter of the game, having been pegged back twice. Cecilie Winther Johansen’s early goal saw Gabriela Slajsová soon hit back and although Dajan Hashemi restored the lead, Lucie Dudová then made it 2-2. Signe Andersen then put the Danes in front for a third time, before Hashemi confirmed the victory late on.
