#SWNT: Corsie returns, Grant gets call up

Rachel Corsie with Shelley Kerr

Scotland Captain Rachel Corsie will return from injury and be available to play two matches against New Zealand, while uncapped Abbi Grant has also been included in the squad, reports scottishfa.co.uk.

The 22-year-old striker has been in impressive form for Glasgow City of late and has been rewarded by Shelley Kerr.

Grant has represented Scotland at under-15s, under-17s and under-19s level.

Lucy Graham also returns to the squad, with Rachael Small and Lana Clelland both missing out through injury.

The two matches against New Zealand will act as preparation for Scotland as they aim to reach their first ever World Cup, having won their opening two fixtures.

Their next competitive match is on Thursday, 5 April against Switzerland away from home before they play Poland in Scotland five days later.

This will be the second time this year the national team has visited Spain after the team lost to Norway and drew with Russia in January in La Manga.
