With the festive break in fixtures well underway, we take time to salute all the women’s teams who have made it to Christmas without dropping a single point.

Only one side in the WSL and another in the Development section boast unblemished records, just two in the Premier League do so but a dozen Regional League outfits have proved unstoppable thus far, while in the Counties it’s as many as twenty-six. One team from the Welsh Leagues makes the list, none from Scotland do and just one from the Irish leagues (only those who have played at least 5 games are included).

AFC Telford hold the best record overall in the winter leagues, being the only side so far to have won all their opening ten matches.

Manchester City hold a two-point advantage at the top of FA WSL 1 after five straight victories, while Arsenal Reserves are the only WSL Development side with a perfect record and they lead the Southern Division with six wins.

Two teams in FAWPL South West Division 1 are going great guns, with newcomers Southampton WFC second on goal-difference following eight wins and Plymouth Argyle three points behind from a match less.

Stevenage Reserves have an impressive record in Eastern Division 1 South, their nine games producing 52 goals for and none against. In the same division, Little Thurrock Dynamos have won all seven fixtures.

No goals conceded by Stevenage Reserves

Chesham United are in a strong position as Southern Premier leaders with seven wins, while AFC Bournmouth have maximum points from their five Southern Division fixtures.

There’s a pair of teams with perfect records in the South West Premier; Buckland Athletic lead with seven wins, Marine Academy Plymouth have played one game fewer. Wootton Bassett Town are a point off the top in the Eastern Division with eight victories and Callington Town are in a similar position in the Western after seven outings.

No less than three teams from the West Midlands Division 1 North have yet to drop points, as Sutton Coldfield Town have a goals advantage over Goldenhill Wanderers after seven games apiece and Leek Town have hit six straight wins. Redditch United have racked up nine in a row to lead the Division 1 South.

Ten for Telford

St Johns are second in the Birmingham Premier after seven games, while AFC Telford have taken their faultless start into double-figures in Division 1. Every match has been won by at least a two-goal margin and the trip to Rugby Town ended with a massive 26-0 scoreline.

Upton are the single Cheshire League side from a membership of twenty-two to make the list, their run of eight wins seeing them lead Division 3 by seven points.

Lumley Pinks are placed fourth in Durham’s Development Division even though they’ve won eight times, as those above them have all played three more – and are led by Consett Belles.
