The top attraction in the League Cup ties is the meeting of the Southern Division top two. C & K Basildon clash with Charlton, with both their league meetings having ended in wins for the home side on the day.

Another pair from the same division also meet, with Lewes playing Portsmouth who recently beat them 3-2, although Lewes won their earlier meeting 1-0.

Nottingham Forest play fellow Northern Division side Guiseley, against whom they won by the only goal early in the season but their match the other week was abandoned early on.

Cambridge United have an attractive test against more senior opposition in Coventry, while Plymouth travel to challenge Cardiff and Loughborough Foxes have a local derby at Leicester City WFC.

In the Plate, Hull City host Newcastle with the Tigresses faring much better in Northern Division 1 than their visitors. However, both teams did well against top flight opposition in the SSE WFA Cup last week and it was Newcastle who caused an upset.

Three top division teams play in the Plate, with West Ham providing attractive opposition for Brislington, Leeds facing a difficult game at Fylde and struggling Swindon Town up against South West leaders Keynsham.

Norwich host MK Dons for the second successive month, losing 1-0 in their last league fixture, while elsewhere Birmingham & West Midlands welcome Crewe and Luton are home to Southampton Saints.

Meanwhile in league action, Northern table-toppers Middlesbrough go to fourth-placed Stoke and mid-table Derby v receive a visit from Bradford.

There’s a London derby in the Southern as QPR play Crystal Palace, who will go second with a win. Chichester would hope to complete a double over Gillingham, having beaten them 4-0 away a fortnight ago.

It’s top versus bottom in the Midlands, as leaders TNS host Leicester City Ladies. Clubs placed from third to fifth are all home, with Burton’s game against Sporting Khalsa, Sheffield United’s opponents being Long Eaton and Solihull Moors meeting Rotherham, The other match is a mid-table one between Radcliffe Olympic and Steel City.

Fourth in the table Morecambe have home advantage over Liverpool Feds, who are one place and six points better off in Northern Division 1. Basement side Mossley Hill meet seventh-placed Barnsley.

A massive match in the South East sees AFC Wimbledon in pole position playing Orient, who sit two points behind them. Haringey are in danger of an eleventh straight defeat at fifth-placed Ipswich, Actonians and Stevenage are level on points before their game, likewise Denham and Enfield who are ninth and tenth respectively.

If newcomers Southampton WFC can make it eight wins on the trot against Maidenhead, they will join South West leaders Plymouth on 24 points. Basingstoke again go in search of a first win with Larkhall their visitors and bottom side St Nicholas play Poole.
