First up is a WSL 1 basement clash, as Yeovil entertain Everton at Huish Park on Saturday (kick off 3pm), with both sides anxious to get off the mark after losing their opening four fixtures.

Liverpool sit fifth ahead of hosting seventh-placed Birmingham City, with an early evening start of 5.30pm in Widnes and available to watch on the league’s Facebook page.

Sunday brings third in the table Reading up against leaders Chelsea, who have yet to concede a goal, and you can watch live on the BBC Red Button from 12.35pm. Will it take another Fara Williams special to finally pierce the Blues defence.

Arsenal, under new boss Joseph Montemurro, take on a Sunderland side only a point beneath them.

Less than 70 hours after their Champions League victory in Norway, Manchester City meet Bristol City.

The WSL 2 matches start at noon on Sunday, as London Bees make the long trip north looking for their first points against leaders Durham.

Brighton are a point above Sheffield FC as they face them in a 1pm kick off at the Sussex FA ground in Lancing.

It’s fourth versus third as unbeaten pair Millwall and Oxford clash in Rotherhithe.

Doncaster are the other side in the division yet to suffer defeat and they have a testing trip to Spurs.

Aston Villa are still to register their first points and welcome a Watford side that have just the solitary one themselves.
